Using our website

We aim to keep the information on our website accurate and up to date, but we cannot guarantee that all information will always be complete or error-free.

We may change, update or remove website content from time to time.

You must not misuse our website, attempt to gain unauthorised access to it or use it in a way that could damage the website, Artbox London or another person.

Donations

Donations made through our website are given voluntarily to support Artbox London's charitable work.

A donation is not a payment for goods or services.

Donations will normally be treated as final once they have been processed. However, if you believe a donation was made in error, duplicated or made without your permission, please contact us as soon as possible at info@artboxlondon.org.

Any decision about returning a donation will be made in accordance with applicable charity law and Artbox London's responsibilities as a charity.

Where Gift Aid is available, you are responsible for confirming that you meet the relevant eligibility requirements.

Payments

Online payments may be processed securely by a third-party payment provider such as Stripe.

We do not normally receive or store your full payment card details.

Payment providers may have their own terms and privacy information relating to their services.

Purchasing artwork or other goods

Where artwork or other products are offered for sale through our website, the description, price and any applicable delivery charges will be shown before you place your order.

We try to represent artwork and products accurately. However, colours and appearance may vary slightly depending on photography, lighting and the screen used to view them.

All purchases are subject to availability. If an item is unavailable after you have placed an order, we will contact you and refund any payment made for that item.

Your order is accepted when we send you confirmation that the order has been accepted.

Prices

Prices will be clearly displayed on the website.

Any delivery charges or other compulsory costs will be shown before you complete your purchase.

We may change prices from time to time, but this will not affect an order that we have already accepted.

Delivery and collection

Where delivery is available, we will provide information about delivery arrangements and charges when you order.

We will aim to deliver within the timeframe stated at the time of purchase. Where no specific timeframe has been agreed, we will comply with applicable consumer law.

Some artwork may be available for collection rather than delivery. Where this applies, the collection arrangements will be confirmed with you.

Please contact us if an order is significantly delayed, lost or arrives damaged.

Cancelling an online purchase

If you are purchasing goods online as a consumer, you will normally have the right to change your mind and cancel your purchase within 14 days of receiving the goods, unless a legal exception applies.

To cancel, please email info@artboxlondon.org clearly stating that you wish to cancel your order.

You then normally have a further 14 days to return the goods.

Unless the item is faulty or we agree otherwise, you may be responsible for the cost of returning it.

We may reduce a refund if goods have been handled beyond what would reasonably be necessary to inspect them.

Any applicable refund, including the cost of our standard delivery option where required by law, will be made in accordance with your legal rights.

Bespoke or commissioned artwork

Cancellation rights may not apply to artwork or other goods that have been specially commissioned, personalised or made to your specification.

Where this applies, we will make this clear before you place your order.

Faulty or damaged goods

Nothing in these terms affects your legal rights.

If an artwork or other product is faulty, damaged, incorrectly described or not as ordered, please contact info@artboxlondon.org as soon as possible so that we can arrange an appropriate remedy.

Workshops, sessions and other services

Bookings

Where you book a workshop, event, Creative Coach session or other activity with Artbox London, we will provide information about the service, price and any particular arrangements when you book. Bookings are subject to availability.

Cancellation arrangements vary depending on the type of service, workshop or activity you have booked. Any specific cancellation terms provided to you when booking will also apply.

One-to-one sessions and Creative Coach sessions

If you need to cancel or rearrange a one-to-one or Creative Coach session, please give us at least 24 hours' notice.

Where less than 24 hours' notice is given, the session will normally be charged in full.

We understand that unexpected circumstances can arise and may use our discretion in exceptional circumstances.

Regular workshops and sessions

Places on our regular workshops and sessions are reserved in advance and places are limited.

If you are unable to attend an individual session, we do not normally offer a refund or credit for that session. This is because the session will still take place and we may not be able to offer the place to somebody else at short notice.

If you are going to be unable to attend for a longer period - for example because of long-term illness - or you decide to leave the programme, please contact us. We will discuss your circumstances with you and, where appropriate, pause or stop future payments.

This does not affect your legal rights.

Corporate, commissioned and co-facilitated workshops

Cancellation arrangements for corporate, commissioned and co-facilitated workshops will be agreed as part of the booking.

These activities can involve significant preparation before the workshop takes place, including planning, artist and co-facilitator time, training, administration and the purchase of materials.

If a booking is cancelled, we will consider the circumstances and the work and costs already committed to the booking. We may retain or charge an amount that reasonably reflects costs already incurred and work already carried out.

Where possible, we may also agree to rearrange the workshop rather than cancel it.

Any specific cancellation arrangements agreed with you when confirming the booking will take priority over these general terms.

If Artbox London cancels

If Artbox London has to cancel a paid session, workshop or event, we will normally offer an appropriate alternative, such as rearranging the session, transferring the booking or providing a refund or credit where appropriate.

We will not normally be responsible for additional costs you incur as a result of a cancellation, such as travel costs, except where required by law.

Changes to workshops and activities

Occasionally we may need to make reasonable changes to the date, time, location, facilitator or content of a workshop or activity.

If we need to make a significant change to a paid booking, we will contact you as soon as reasonably possible and explain the options available.

Accessibility and support

We aim to make Artbox London activities welcoming and accessible.

If you have an accessibility or support requirement relevant to a booking, please contact us so that we can discuss appropriate arrangements.

Any personal information you provide will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Notice.

Artwork and intellectual property

Copyright and other intellectual property rights in artwork remain with the artist or other rights holder unless explicitly agreed otherwise.

Purchasing an original artwork does not automatically transfer copyright or give the purchaser the right to reproduce, publish, commercially exploit or create copies of the artwork.

Website content, including text, photographs, graphics and other material, may also be protected by copyright and other intellectual property rights.

You must not reproduce or commercially use protected material without the permission of the relevant rights holder.

Images of artwork

Images of artwork displayed on our website are provided so that visitors can view and learn about the artists and their work.

They may not be copied, reproduced or used commercially without permission.

Links to other websites

Our website may contain links to external websites or services.

We are not responsible for the content, availability or privacy practices of external websites. A link does not necessarily mean that Artbox London endorses the organisation or content concerned.

Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so.

We are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable or for losses that arise because of circumstances outside our reasonable control.

If you are using our website as a consumer, these terms do not affect your statutory rights.

Personal information

We handle personal information in accordance with our Privacy Notice.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time to reflect changes in our activities, website or legal requirements.

The version applying to a purchase or booking will normally be the version in force when you place the relevant order or booking.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

If you are a consumer, you will retain any additional legal protections that apply to you based on where you live.
