Help ensure learning disabled and autistic artists can access supportive, meaningful creative opportunities.
At Artbox London, we believe everyone deserves the chance to make art, express themselves, and feel valued for their creativity. However, the world is not equally accessible, and many learning disabled and autistic people face barriers to participating fully in the arts.
Artbox exists to help remove those barriers. We provide a supportive studio where artists have time, space, and encouragement to explore ideas, develop their creative practice, and connect with others. We work hard to keep sessions affordable and to offer additional support where it’s needed - but we can’t do this without help.
Donations play a vital role in making our work possible. They allow us to subsidise studio sessions so that cost is never a barrier, provide materials and skilled facilitation, and create opportunities for artists to exhibit their work, visit galleries, and take part in cultural life.
By donating to Artbox, you are helping to:
support learning disabled and autistic artists to take part in regular studio practice
maintain a safe, welcoming studio space
offer exhibitions, trips, and opportunities to share work publicly
How your donation can help
Your support contributes directly to both the day-to-day running and long-term sustainability of Artbox. For example:
£20 helps provide materials for a day of studio practice
£70 supports 1:1 studio time for an artist with additional support needs
£125 contributes to delivering a half-day workshop
£6,000 helps cover the cost of art materials for a year
£15,000 contributes towards annual studio rental costs
Every donation, large or small, helps ensure that learning disabled and autistic artists can continue to access creative opportunities, feel supported, and be part of a creative community.
