Kasia Konsowicz

Kasia is a patient, detail-oriented artist with a strong sense of creative direction. The possibilities are endless as she spins a small idea into a magical web, building a narrative world from the slightest inspiration, creating week long projects that include painting, sculpture, storytelling and everything in-between.

Also known as “Magic,” she is Artbox’s resident storyteller - always brimming with ideas, she makes anything from epic illustrated stories to colouring books that feature delicate drawings, usually in handmade books. Kasia has also recently ventured into 3D sculpture in new materials like cardboard, fabric, and paper maché, bringing to life the creatures and characters from various fictional worlds.

Her work draws heavily on the imaginative worlds of Minecraft and Roblox, featuring characters from Five Nights at Freddy’s and Rainbow Friends, among others. She is also inspired by films she has recently watched or one of her favourite youtubers, often making work with her family and friends in mind. She is incredibly sociable and enjoys showing her work, often accompanied by her impressive sketchbook, which never fails to be received with praise and admiration.

“Artbox is cool,” she says. “I like working with the artists, making friends, and creating books. I love stories - (it is) very magical work.”
