We wanted to take a moment to acknowledge the support we receive from our team of volunteers and to share the difference they make, especially at a time when the care sector is facing huge challenges to providing quality support.

We’ve been really lucky to attract such great volunteers - from those who have studied creative subjects to professionals who give up a large chunk of their free time to help the artists, both in and out of the studio.

While the team is diverse, they are all united by a love of art, a belief in building a strong and inclusive community and that so underrated quality of kindness!

As well as supporting artists to create their masterpieces, volunteers help the artists to have fun, make friends, develop other skills, such as IT, presentation and numeracy (especially when they work with artists on sales) and create a warm and welcoming environment!

Our artists can face some big challenges in life and having good support can make a world of difference!
