I spent my childhood in the town of Hurst, Berkshire. This book tells the story of an old oak tree that was in our garden and its fellow animals, plants and people. I lived in a big house surrounded by a garden full of life and beauty. It is the story of my childhood and the things I love the most: trees, nature and my sister Mandy.
