This piece is ‘about leaves’. Ashley has chosen to draw leaves ‘because it’s winter’ and ‘because leaves lose colours’. 

Ashley enjoyed using the posca pens because ‘they are nice greens’.

There is a sun and ‘nice patterns’ which Ashey created ‘by drawing from my imagination’. Ashley likes the leaves in her piece the most.

Ashley explains how the piece relates to her identity ‘because it is bright and the bright colours are good and ‘I like drawing the leaves the most [...] Ashley felt ‘happy’ making this piece. She felt: ‘I had done well [drawing] the leaves.’

This piece was created by starting with a drawing of Ashley's house and street. 

Whilst Ashley was creating it, she really enjoyed drawing the flowers and the leaves the most, so this drawing became a zoomed in version of the leaves in Ashley's street, and a continuation of her previous piece.
