Shannon

Shannon’s artwork is filled with colour and movement. This is apt, considering that Shannon is known to dance when painting. Her work is always abstract and references the work of artists such as Jackson Pollock, Mark Rothko and Peter Lanyon. The gestural application of paint or pastel causes the viewer to continually question the method of production, generating art that is always engaging. Never static in her style or process, Shannon always experiments on a number of works before finding a practice that resonates.

I like coming to Artbox as it’s fun! I like to share things and be together with the other artists.
