Lisa

Lisa is one of Artbox’s newest artists and has already made lots of progress and friendships in the studio. Inspired by her pets and plants at home, Lisa loves drawing flowers and animals by layering different colours, textures and techniques to represent the flora and fauna that fascinates her. One of Lisa’s favourite things is getting messy in the studio - this leads to an expressive reinterpretation of the natural world around us that we might see everyday.

Lisa has said she feels really happy in the Artbox studio. Having been discouraged from making art in other settings, she has loved expressing herself creatively and loves working alongside our other artists who make her feel very inspired. She has been enjoying making art at Artbox so much that she also set up a little studio at home and keeps a sketchbook.
