About the artist:

Hisba is continually experimenting with different mediums and techniques. Her fascination with everything around her means that she has a wealth of ideas to inspire her work. Architecture, art history, textiles, and different cultures are among the most important themes in her art and these are continually referred to in her sketchbooks and outcomes. Many of the works produced have a graphic quality referencing Japanese woodblock prints with their defined line and flat surfaces.
