Get an Artbox Buddy

Our art buddy scheme helps people with learning disabilities and autism explore London with friends whilst creating and learning about art. It is being piloted in autumn 2019 and we are looking for people who would like to take part.

An art buddy is shared between groups of 3 or 4 artists and helps them meet up and go on trips together locally and in central London. The art buddy will organise creative activities and provide art materials. They will also help artists plan where and when they want to go and help them get there.

Art buddies can provide up to 6 hours of support per group per week, for up to 3 months initially. Art buddies can’t provide personal care so people with care needs will need to bring their usual support workers.

Please get in touch if you are interested and would like more information on how the buddy scheme will work and how much it is likely to cost.
